Our Trustees & Core Team

Anthony Thompson OBE

Retired but busy, Anthony has a wealth of experience in the charity sector and brings wisdom and structure to all we do. Having volunteered locally in some of our services, Anthony was the natural choice to pioneer the formation and structure of Creating Hope.

Katherine Parsons

Katherine has been involved with our CAP debt centre in Sutton since the very beginning. A mum of 3 young children, co-leading C3 UnitedLife Sutton with her husband, life is full of, but Katherine enjoys seeing things grow, flourish and now expand under the banner of Creating Hope. Seeing lives transformed is clearly a passion.

Shernaz Wadia

A founding Trustee of Creating Hope, Shernaz has 5 years’ experience volunteering as a Debt coach, as well as a background in owning and operating a medical practice.

Her desire is to see our work expand to include other services and serve a greater number of people. My greatest joy is to see lives change, people transform and fulfil their God given potential.

Andy Blackburn

A, as he puts it, a semi-retired accountant. Andy serves as our treasurer and is one part of a power team, in that his wife also runs our Job Club teams.

Andy brings financial acumen, accounts fundamentals as well as practical advice to our team.

Tim Croxson

Tim is CEO of a local, but global business, and works with four charities, dedicated to education, poverty and people development.

A husband, and a dad, Tim and his wife also lead C3 UnitedLife, a local church spanning across two boroughs.

Rona Forzani

Rona is our executive staff member with a passion for the poor and marginalised, helping them realise their value and worth.

With a background in education and charity work, Rona loves the work we do, and plan to do, and is the dynamo in the daily work Creating Hope does.
